Excitement about the Smallest things!

Excitement abounds when opening the kiln to see the work that comes out! It is just like christmas morning! None thing better. I am just as bad as my students who are so excited to see finished work. 

This weekend I will be fully involved with drawing on my leather hard pottery and with much excitement I must say! The Mishima surface design is exciting and just a beautiful look to my pottery. Having a piece of pottery with my own drawings and designs is awesome! 

I made a promise to myself to work on my pottery and paintings for the first half the 2013. This time I just wanted to work on my ideas and designs.
